My eyes were on stalks as a patient said with excitement that she was diagnosed with â€Å"terminal† cancer a long time ago and still alive against her poor prognosis. While I was looking at her studies, she cried, but what really caught my attention was her blissful smile. She was looking at her family and said that she enjoyed more her life during these years. It granted me faith and optimism. Despite her cancer was recurrent every time that doctors tried to withdraw her from the biologic therapy, yet this therapy kept her tumor appeased. She knew it, but she also knew that we were there to help her on that winding road. Upon realizing the vulnerability that overcomes the ill, I have sought to relieve it. Since then, I have made it my mission to restore hope in the hopeless. This is my motivation, the exceptional possibility to change people’s lives. I come from a family that struggled to overcome extreme poverty with perseverance, discipline, and integrity, what shaped me into a resilient but compassionate person that works hard for its goals. 1. The Christ as the Good Shepherd mosaic located on the entrance wall of the Mausoleum of Galla Placidia in Ravenna, Italy was made circa 425 AD. A mausoleum is a monumental tomb, usually meant for entombing the dead above ground. The mosaic is displayed in a lunette-a semi-circular wall of a vaulted room. Even though the image of Christ as the Good Shepherd was a common one in catacombs in previous centuries, the way that Christ was shown in art had changed since Christianity had been adopted as Romes official religion and the image of Christ in the Mausoleum of Galla Placidia was no different. Previously Christ had been shown as a simple carpenter, but in the Christ as the Good Shepherd mosaic he is shown in a fine Roman wear. At the time, Greeks thought that they could create order within their environments and thus create statues that were perfect. This is what they believed they were doing with the way Christ was shown in the mosaic at the Mausoleum of Galla Placidia; creating a more worldly, powerful image of Christ. Christ is shown with a large golden nimbus (halo), a royal purple mangle over a golden tunic and holding a tall cross. Also depicted in the mosaic at the Mausoleum of Galla Placidia is a set of three sheep on each side of Christ, with him touching one on the nose. 3. Millie and Liza had high-involvement purchases to make, and the factors played a major role. Economically, Liza was more conscious than Millie, but it is the other way around with regard to the product’s performance risk, though psychologically and in relation to decision novelty the two were consistent. The buyer decision process happens everyday to everybody. All buying processes require a person to go through at least two or three steps in the process, which may lead to a sale or not. When applied theoretically, the buyer decision process is a good tool for consumers to choose their wares, and for merchants to know how to target their consumers.
